On Memorial Day, veterans, community leaders, elected officials, and Southern Oregon residents gathered in Medford to dedicate the Vietnam War Memorial Wall—a lasting tribute to the 58,479 Americans who gave their lives in service during the Vietnam War.

This video captures the dedication ceremony and the powerful stories behind the memorial, from reflections on sacrifice and the difficult homecoming many Vietnam veterans experienced to the remarkable 12-year community effort that brought the wall to life. More than a monument, the Vietnam Memorial Wall now stands as a place of remembrance, reflection, healing, and gratitude—ensuring that those who served, and those who never returned home, are never forgotten.
